While this job focused on diagnostics and repair, technical support was often requested. I delivered. The majority of the job was explaining "geeky stuff" to the non-tech savvy in an understandable way.
Customer service came naturally allowing me to focus on a higher attention to detail.
One of my favorite jobs even if for a short time. I learned how to use a copier to its full potential.
I was responsible to care for my aunt, a flight risk. This was the hardest job I've ever had, and it will remain so. This job has prepared me for dealing with the unexpected in the moment where split second decisions matter.
I cleaned and sanitized all surfaces and windows, vacuumed, and emptied trash cans. I maintained the grounds by picking up trash, blowing leaves, re-painting walls and being able to help however I was needed across multiple schools.
My first day on the job was unpaid, I was covering for my mom during a McTeacher Night. I was employed within a week and began learning the art of customer service.
